Photographer and artist Sharon Hoffman lovingly tends old fashioned and English garden roses at her home in Encinitas, California. Her desire to share these beauties launched the Roses of Sharon line of gift cards,expanding to include the gardens, houses and villages encountered in her travels. Her unique perspective comes from her intimate knowledge as a gardener who is passionately involved in the selection, planting and care of her roses.
One of my favorite roses is Graham Thomas. It is a David Austin Rose with very fragrant scent. It is a very hardy rose and grows to about 8' in Southern California.
